Description

Set the maximum length of excerpt by number of characters or words.

Installation

  1. Upload excerpt-by-characters.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Go to Settings>Excerpt by Characters on the admin page. Specify the number of maximum characters or words and save the setting.
  4. Whenever you save a post, the excerpt length of that post will be set.
