Disk Usage Details helps you understand exactly where your disk space is being used. It scans your WordPress installation and displays the size of folders and files, making it easy to identify large directories and manage your website storage.

The Disk Usage Details screen is available under the Tools menu. Only administrators with the manage_options capability can access it.

Installation
- Upload the plugin folder to

No. Disk Usage Details only reads file and folder sizes. It does not modify, move, or delete any files.

Why is a folder size shown as “computing”?

Large folders are scanned progressively in the background to keep the page fast. Once the calculation is complete, the result is cached for faster loading.
