Does your WooCommerce store sell products with packaging? Under Spanish law (Royal Decree 1055/2022 — Extended Producer Responsibility), you are required to file an annual declaration with MITECO. Failure to comply can result in fines of up to €1,500,000.

Why automate instead of using a spreadsheet manually?
The traditional method (filling in MITECO templates by hand) takes 4–8 hours per declaration and is error-prone. Envasify reads completed WooCommerce orders directly, calculates weights by material, and produces a clean CSV ready for your accountant.
Paid versions (optional, hosted on envasify.com)
Envasify Lite is complete on its own. If you also need the official eSIR Excel files in the exact format required by MITECO, automatic declarations, multi-VAT support or a multi-client agency dashboard, those are offered by separate paid products on envasify.com. They are not part of this free plugin.
External services
Envasify Lite does not send any store data to external servers by default. All data stays on your WordPress installation.
The only outbound communication happens if the administrator voluntarily activates the optional connection with a compliance agency that runs Envasify Enterprise. In that case your packaging data is sent to the agency’s own server (the URL you enter when connecting), not to Envasify. This is entirely optional and disabled until you set it up.

Installation
- Download and install the plugin from the WordPress.org repository, or upload the
.zipfile manually via Plugins Add New Upload Plugin - Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu
- Go to WooCommerce Envasify Lite to access the dashboard
- Configure packaging materials and weights on each WooCommerce product
- In the Export section, download the CSV with your packaging data

Am I required to declare my packaging?

If your company places more than 0.5 tonnes of packaging on the market per year (including packaging of products you sell online), you are required to file a declaration with MITECO before 31 March each year, under Royal Decree 1055/2022.

Does the free version have any limits?

No. Envasify Lite is fully functional and free: you can configure unlimited products and export your packaging data as CSV with no weight or product caps.

Does Envasify Lite generate the official MITECO Excel?

Lite exports a CSV with all your packaging data so your compliance manager can process the declaration. The official Excel in the exact eSIR format is provided by separate paid products on envasify.com; it is not part of this free plugin.

Do I need WooCommerce installed?

Yes. Envasify Lite requires WooCommerce, as it reads products and completed orders from your store to calculate packaging data.

What is RD 1055/2022 and RAP?

Royal Decree 1055/2022 transposes the European directive on packaging and packaging waste. It establishes Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR): companies that place packaged products on the Spanish market must annually declare the tonnes of packaging by material type to MITECO.

Can I connect Lite with my compliance agency?

Yes, if your agency has Envasify Enterprise installed. You can link your store so that the agency receives data automatically, without you having to export or send anything manually. This connection is optional.

Does the plugin send data to Envasify or third parties?

No. All your store data remains on your WordPress server. There is no telemetry or connection to envasify.com, except for the optional connection to your agency’s server if you activate it.

Is it compatible with HPOS (Custom Order Tables) in WooCommerce?

Yes. Envasify Lite is compatible with HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage).
